Tattoo Removal

before and after a woman's back tattoo is removed

Have you got a tattoo which you no longer want or bored of? Our team of tattoo removal specialists can help you get rid of your unwanted tattoo. There are many factors which need to be considered in tattoo removal including the colours, size and density of the tattoo, as these will affect the removal treatment and how effective it will be. It is crucial to talk about these factors with our team of professionals before we can proceed with your removal.

Laser Treatments

The advanced laser technology is extremely safe and gives amazing results. The laser allows the light to pass through the skin and breaks up the ink into particles, which is then disposed of through your body’s immune system. The treatment usually consists of several sessions with intervals in-between each session.

What you need to know:

  • The laser treatment may cause a stinging sensation which can be lessened by a local anaesthetic cream.
  • It has been known for some people to have a darkening or lightening on the affected skin however it has returned to normal colour after six months.
  • Redness over the treated area is common after each session but will calm down quite quickly.
  • We advise our customers to use a high-factor sub block whilst your skin is still sensitive after each treatment session.
  • Removal sessions can take between five minutes and twenty five minutes, depending on the size of the tattoo

How much will it cost?

Prices start from just £25 per session depending on tattoo size. Each session is individually priced and is dependant on the size of the tattoo which needs removing.

Frequently asked questions:

What will I feel during a treatment session?

You will feel a mild to medium pricking sensation over the area of removal. A Local anaesthetic cream may be used, as well as pain relief, such as paracetamol.

How often will I need the treatment?

We suggest a minimum of four weeks between each session and a course of six to ten treatments. This is to give the skin and body time to heal as well as having enough sessions to remove the tattoo which is dependant on the colours involved and the size and depth of the ink.

Is laser tattoo removal right for me?

It may not be suitable if you have darker skin as it is known for lasers to potentially leave a ‘ghosting’ effect. This is where the skin is lasered and is left lighter than the surrounding skin. A professional in our team will guide you further.
